If you would like a small piece of advice, when you're using a colored backdrop, don't crop the canvas exactly to the sprite. Let the canvas breath a little by making it larger than the sprite and positioning the sprite where it looks most natural. A precisely cropped canvas is better for a transparent background.
Welcome to Pixel Joint. Your first sub is quite nice. Just a few things that I might be able to point out to help. The wolf's back left leg or the right back leg from the viewer's perspective can do without the bright highlight, especially right under the lower rear section. The bright color draws the back leg to attention too much so that it looks akward when it contrasts with the darker belly. Finally, there are some jagged lines that could use some smoothing.
