A redraw of a piece I made in summer but never shared even though I was really proud of it XD

It's supposed to be a meteor boss with hot crystals, lava, ect...
Big thanks to Veli's Rubycat (sorry veli XD) whose scales inspired me to try it out. Now you may be thinking "these are no scales!"
I know :P
Crits are tolerated, as long as they dont concern shading you nitpickers ;)

I'd see that piece been animated with a reflect in the crystal and some idle movement could be nice

Good job! Crystal might have used some highlights maybe? Would make them look cool and shiny probably.
