It might look better if the animation is sped up.

I made a lot of these with different timed blinks...the original sprite actually had closed eyes so when I changed them to eyes eyes I thought it looked a little off so I gave equal time for both

I might update it in the future with different times but thank you so much for the comment :)

Why do the eyelids go up before going down? Are they preparing themselves?

It is a strange blink, because eyelaids stay close to much time, in my opinion. But overall is good.
