Man, that is great.
I was bugged by a little something. I looked at the frames of the animation, because one frame seemed to jolt. At the start, just befor the curling into a spiral (Frame 4?), it jumps from animation to animation a bit too fast and makes it feel jarring. It was really hard to spot though. Either way, I really like it.

Well, I was trying to make a sudden move to start the spiral. This is because I reduced the frame time and as you said, it's feels jarring.
