Pixel Art Challenge: Insects!

Insects! They are everywhere.

They bite, sting, scratch or simply run over a surface letting you know that you should really dust off your living room.

This week I want you to pixel some sort of insect, but It doesn't have to be an existing species. You can go crazy and create your very own critter.

Canvas Size - Max. 120x120
Colors - Max. 12.
Transparency - Optional.
Animation - Optional.

I would prefer 'real' insects over arachnids, but I won't decline your entry if it has 8 legs. :)

do Arachnids like Spiders, tics, and mites count since they're technically not insects

interesting challenge, either way.
I just hope I can get an interesting concept going
