This week we will design our pixel tarot cards. First they were used for gaming, and later got esoteric and other aplicatons, but we will be focusing on the art here.
Choose a "Major Arcana" card from the list:

Use the provided palette:
Add the number in the top section (The Fool usually has this space empty), the artwork in the middle, and the name of the card in the bottom. You are free to design your font and numeration however you like..
Canvas size: Exactly 100x186 (use the template).
Colours: Max 8 (7 from the palette +1 of transparency only on the corners).
Transparency: Required. (There are round corners cutted from the template, which need to stay, but you are not allowed to add transparency on the card surface).
Animation: No.

I may have prototyped a tarot from the entries! You can find it on my Itch page (daxid.itch.io/pixeltarot). It is pretty rough for now but I'll add all the entries and make it fancy next!

picking random cards is easy. the more challenging imo is to come up with algoritm which will connect appropriate text with those cards. but it shouldn't be that hard.
If somebody writes those texts, I could make a page which displays a different card and text every time you refresh.
Probably it would be a lot more charming if it was more fancy than that, but that's above my pay grade, but should someone else want to pick that up that's cool too!

it would be funny if the program also told you your fortune based on selected cards, but it would be pixel art related only.

I don't know how they are used but is it possible to code it so computer is your fortune teller picking random cards (and if choosen card number has multiple versions, another randomiser chooses the art)?
I'm of course already thinking about a way to make a cool gallery for them in wepixel... But i'm too busy with drawing the cards themselves atm 
i'm starting to feel the need to have these as physical card deck
if there will be some cards missing, we can extend it to collab ;]
More cards with more different styles and this will look insane!
Now I regret that I haven't used this idea for a collab, to complete the deck and publish it all together.
@gawrone: i was thinking about woodcut print with loads of black and inversed drawing. ;] anyway, submitted 
@b236, I guess if you are making something more modern or a unique, anniversary deck :P , I'm sure it's possible to print all over the paper surface. Maybe even something like a full black card with golden borders is possible? If you imagine that this is a paper and a set of inks, you can be very creative without breaking any rules ;)
sometimes you look at a challenge and you know the entries are gonna be bonkers, this is one of those. can't wait to see these popping up
Oh, so just looking over it I have an idea, however are the black bars just the guides for where the stuff should be or do we have to draw within the bars?
how much should we stick to the template design? can i for example use different colours from palette for background and borders?
