Pixel Art Challenge: Genre Shuffler

icon

Draw a character sprite from an existing game as if it's for another genre of game. Examples: Mario in a shooter, Lara Croft in farming sim or The Penitent One in a dating game. The weirder the two mixed up genres are going to be, the better.

Canvas Size - max 100X150 (vertical).
Colours - max 32.
Transparency - required.
Animation - no.

The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.

Thanks for humouring my weird question :D

I don't understand the reasoning behind the question. If a sprite is pixel art it can be in a game which uses pixel art. Can't imagine any opposite situation. (How can a sprite be from a game of a different genre if it is not from a game? ). But if I assume for the sake of the question validation that it can't, than in that case yes - in this challenge any pixel art of a game character that looks like from a game of a different genre is allowed!

Does it have to look like a sprite that could be in a video game? Or can it just be any (requirement compliant) pixel art of a game character in a different genre?
