 Well I'm embarrased.

I had initally anti-aliased it, but I foolishly did it with non-opaque colors, and then exported as a .gif. Would it be considered poor form to export as a .png to make it so the non-opaque AA works on all background colors?

 You need to better emphasize the d-pad and analog sticks with more contrast. I couldn't even see them without scaling up 300%.

 I can see why you might think that. The style is kind of based on posterized photos and stuff like that. I used a reference photo, but I didn't directly trace it. Is that against the law? This is far too stylized to be a color reduction.

Believe what you want, but I still drew this by hand over the course of several hours.

 Okay, I added a border and animated it to make it look a little more polished. I experimented with gradients but it just looked wrong.

 Is APNG even necessary for something with so few colors? An animated GIF would look exactly the same.

 Where's the 21 Jump Street version?

 The hearts on the right and top look strange. Also, the corners look strange. They seem to stick out, when they should get the tip slightly cut off.
