There were alot of exaggerations but I didn't think they were completely out of the realm of possiblity and function (now that I look at it the boobs are in a bad way). I'll try to make some corrections later tonight. Anymore insight would be great.

Psycho diver or cool aquarium ornament? Robot fish or unknown species? Good choice with the purple eyes on orange/yellow fish pigment! Also, I'm really digging the 2nd furthest fish away from viewer. The lighting on that little nut on the facecage is alittle wonky but I think it was intended. Melikey!

I think its the contrast of water to sky, people to aliens, 3d to 2d, people color to sky color, alien color to water color, tragedy to beauty... CONTRAST IS EVERYTHING!.. okay, maybe not, but i like this.. (Agree with Gas + anatomy issues with wrists, shoulders and ankles!)
