The colors are compliments and just look appealing on the dark canvas. They could be any color really. Ideally, I would replace them with a secondary smaller implode there based on their timing, or just remove them all together. 

But hey, pretty lights.

Thx! Basically it is kinda sorta EXACTLY like tracing. Rotoscoping is a cool animated trace technique. "A full commitment is what I'm thinking of" so I follow the base video shape and make stylized choice changes like in the hand shapes and timing. There are some jacked up shading choices I made, but I'm Never Gonna let you down....

Fire glows and emits light. It flickers, so... no thanks. I could have submitted a flat base shape animation but chose not to for this piece. If I need to reduce the number of colors if there is a technical restriction the site can't handle, cool... but telling me how many colors there should be according canvas size is a subjective argument. It could be done in 2, 16, 32, or even exactly 1024 colors per frame on a 32px canvas. If approval depends on preferred color restriction I will remove the art. Thank you for reviewing.
