I'm happy that you like this image and thanks a lot for your comments. I agree with you about the shadow, but back then I was to lazy to make it more believable. I should do more quality control after telling myself that I "finished" a picture, heh

I updated the preview. I dislike previews which promise big things and after clicking you get disappointed, so I made a really simple preview and then I hoped the full image would surprise the viewer. Of course, that doesn't work if nobody clicks at the preview, heh. Therefore I added some details from the full illustration to lure my prey, heh.

I agree with you about the sky and the rightmost moai. A added the moai short before finishing because I found the composition needed more weight at the right side. Therefore I didn't spend the same amount of time there as I did on other parts, the same with the sky. But after working that long at the picture straight, I simply didn't see it.
