Love these guys! The amalgamation on the far left is my favorite. The choice to leave its form a bit messier and more undefined than the other skeletons goes a long way to add to its creepiness :)

Love the palette. Simple but striking and fits the scene well. Great work!

Love the palette! The combination of pastel colors with more deep/saturated ones is exquisite.

Holy cow! This is some incredible work!

Neat! I'd also lean towards "cool stylistic choice." All that dark negative space gives somewhat of an ominous feeling to this piece and I think that feeling fits well a place called "the Zone" :)

Thanks! I've been really enjoying playing around with dithering/clustering recently so it's nice to know people find it interesting :)

Looove the very angular shapes you used for the fire and smoke. They fit with the robot very well :)

One of my favs

Great job rendering so much fine detail in such a small resolution! Work-in-progress gif was a very cool watch as well.

Neat! A simple but pleasing palette -- I like the decision to stick to the blue/pink theme with the leaves and not make them green like in the reference photo :) Only critique I'll give is that the darkest color in the palette (used on the leaves) probably isn't necessary as it gets lost against the 2nd darkest color unless the piece is zoomed in on several times.

Very nice! The range of clusters and colors used for the flowers/other foliage really make the scene come to life and help the flowers/bushes/grasses stand out quite well against each other when in close proximity :)

Wow! Unbelievable how quickly you're able to pump out these masterpieces. This piece is definitely one of my favorites from you.

The decision to be conservative with the hue shifting was a good one -- the deep/dark yellowish-greens towards the bottom of the scene pair so well with that orange glow and the lack of a wide range of other hues in the piece definitely help bring out its intensity :)

Very nice! The warm colors give this piece such a cozy feeling. Well done with the shading on the wood/roots as well :)

Love this album and love your rendition of its cover art! The prevalence of those deeper magentas/purples is a very nice touch.

Thanks a bunch! I was very proud of the palette for this one.

Thank you! I can't take complete credit for the expression though haha -- the monster is just a slightly reimagined version of Terraria's eye of cthulhu boss which shares the open mouth + other features :)

Those vibrant purples against the less saturated highlights really adds a lot of beauty and depth to the lighting in this piece. Very nice work!

Amazing use of color! Also absolutely love how the bubbles are rendered -- they look so bouncy and fluid :)

WolfGD @ 3/9/2025 09:21 commented on Forest Landscape

This is a wonderful first piece! The only critique I have is that the foreground grass looks a bit flat -- a bit more detail/color variation in the grass, especially on the hills closer to the viewer, would give the piece quite a bit more dimension. Great work :)

There really is! I actually found myself getting lost in the atmosphere of this piece several times when drawing it.

Thank you, glad you like the palette for this one!

The color-picking process for this one was pretty simple, I basically just picked colors I thought I'd need for this landscape from dark to light (purple, blue, and brown for the darker parts and greens/yellows for the lighter parts) and then picked several more colors I thought it would be interesting to include/I thought contrasted a bit with the colors I already had, like the bright blue and green used as highlights in some areas and the vibrant orange I used to show sun hitting the radio towers :)
