Since the aqueduct is the main subject, I'd expect it to have more presence, either by taking more space in the picture, or by being more dramatic, or both.

I'm not a hardcore gamer, so much of it is reinventing the wheel, not done out of nostalgia. It also means that appeal will be hit or miss with the gaming crowd.

I drew it from life, no reference photo. I was surprised this one was even accepted. About those tutorials, those don't seem to work for me. I often have no idea what the author means, and have to do a lot of searching to grasp the concepts. It's frustrating, so I put it off.

Thanks again! I will consider this next time I draw pixel art. Now you pointed it out, I can see your point. However, it still doesn't look jarring to my eyes, so maybe it's more of a personal preference thing than anything else. 

Thanks! I'm new at pixel art, so I had to look up the term "banding." After an online search, I'm now vaguely aware what it means, unsure how to spot it, and totally at a loss how to fix it, even if I could detect its presence, which I can't in my drawing, I'm sorry to write.

Looks good to me (not a pro either), though the missing eyelids in the frames where the eyes are fully open feels odd, like the eyes pop out of their sockets. Other than that, it's great!

It's very cute and adorable. I love how you rendered the glasses.
