I've been working at creating some of my first animations (as opposed to still pixel images) too, and I think that this piece has the potential to go from just being "good" to something really  great with just a few more tweaks! With a bit more work, the lighting could be more natural, and the thick hide of the elephant could be shown by suggesting some texture.

Also, there's room for a lot of improvement (anatomically) on the face, tusks, and trunk. All in all, this piece has been inspiring to me, as it's a great walk cycle.

Thanks guys--these mistakes are easy to see now that you've pointed them out! Ellian, the knee does bounce, and Sai--you're right, the other elbow should be visible on the far side.

I've spent some time looking, but.. How do you all get the correct speed for your GIFs when you post your work? I'd love to know.

Not the first pixelated thing I've ever drawn--just the first in a while. For now it can serve as my avatar. I'm very excited about this site and look forward to meeting (learning from) the artists behind the work here at PJ.

Excellent pallette, I love the colors in here! Great work, I'll be studying this.

I like this, if only for the title, and not for the smoothness of the animation. It looks good, he looks fluid. I'm not sure how steady emus are in their cadence, there is a certain awkwardness, and I think it lends character.

I like this little guy, the helmet makes it feel like he's got an attitude. This is a totally original concept that has obviously not been influenced by any sort of platformer starring a blue robot man.
