Never played Gimmick. Is it any good?

The game's gimmick? I'm not sure there's anything I would call a 'gimmick.' It's mostly a jumpathon with some healthy 'collect the things' for good measure, and a light sprinkle of playable story areas.

The screen actually goes darker during the night scene, but I wanted the mockup to be normal brightness so I could stay faithful to the colour scheme. I suppose I could darken it up for this gallery piece. :)

The perspective issues are tricky. I want to show a little depth, but the tiles are very flat. Any suggestions?

i feel like it's worth mentioning that this peice is meant to be viewed at 2x (which is the scale it will be in the game). i probably should put that in the explanation somewhere...
