Wow! My favourite piece of yours.

I'm a bit disappoined. When I uploaded my piece, I thought it was quite good and a contender for a place. Not only did it not place (which is not my greatest concern), but it didn't even receive a single comment. I guess I must be delusional or something...

Nice one! My only suggestion would be to decrease the saturation of the red on the eye and tongue.

Nice one! The dragon's posture is great.

I agree the sword doesn't look sharp, I had a bit of trouble with that. I used a lot of dithering because of the restricted color palette and also because I think it gives it a nice texture.

Thanks for the feedback. I made an edit to better define the edges of the fin. What do you think?

Nice one! I'd like to see that wooden texture that you have on the top section of the barrel continued on to the bottom section.

I did the flame and AA on the outside by placing pixels with differing transparencies (which until now, I thought was a very commonly used technique). I cannot see why this would not be allowed. If it isn't, then it seems to me like a very unnecessary restriction.

If this is not pixel art, I will run up and down my street naked. This is the third piece I've put on here and every one of them is apparently 'not pixel art'. I placed every pixel by hand.

I don't see why it's so hard to believe that I placed every pixel by hand. If you know what a scaled down image looks like when zoomed in, and you then look at this zoomed in, you can tell that there is a clear difference. This is not scaled down at all. There's a hell of a lot of colours because I placed transparent pixels over the top of others etc. You can still see the main colours though, eg. for the red on the card, there's only 3 different shades.
