I really like this angular style of yours!

More knowledge of how to 'blend' colours, and also how to work within a restricted helps a heap. Although they are all a similar style...

@Geonjaha, guskooyman Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate all feedback!. I personally like trying to keep my pixel art pretty clean. I went through a dithering phase, thinking that less colours + dithering was best. Sometimes, adding one or two more colours fits what you are trying to convey better than "adding" a new colour through dithering. Not that I have anything against it, I just didn't feel it fit well in this particular piece. May do an edit and see what it looks like.

Choosing between 1 px and 2 px in thickness is tough. I guess I could have darkened the top row to trick the eye into thinking its 1.5 px thick -_-

@stasis, ultimaodin: Thanks for the comment on the glow. I was also a bit weary on it. Will edit to remove the glow and see how it looks. I had trouble thinking what I could do with the shape too, I was stuck on the idea of just doing an emerald.

@guskooyman: Typical, transparency layer being all checkerboard and me not noticing a near-white pixel -_-

I have an issue with some single pixels in the block. Also, it looks like the block and slime are done differently, but that's just me as the creator finding small issues.

Agreed. This was a much larger piece for me, and issues were going to arise due to my own inexperience (specifically banding), and I'm still learning how to make things look right. I don't usually work with backgrounds as well, especially with iso works, so it was more or less experimental and leaving it out would make it feel unfinished imo.
