@Pheno: palette is very close to DawnBringer's. That was not intentional, but so it is. My personal theory is that I used so long DB16 and got used to it that I ended up with something almost same as that. Don't know whether that's good or bad. Probably neither. Anyway, thank you for feedback!

@Pheno: I see what you mean with the slimes. I had tried to make them less smooth, but the result was not very good...

@Artic: you perfectly described what I wanted to portray: the chest top is meant to slide back when opening, rather than just turning around an axis. I thought this was a little more original than the usual pirate chest style. And I don't think it contrasts with the front lock in any way...

@JustinGameDesign: initially it was, then the project was abandoned.

@Ticxta, @Dr D: Yeah, I'm aware of the perspective issues. Simply, I made this and then left it unrefined not having time to enter the jam. I did want to try and adjust that side door tile, but dropped the project before doing that.

Sprites were intentionally monochrome, since the gameplay idea was to have an element-based fight system, and colors had to represent the corresponding element. Not very original, I admit

@ottbot: yeah, the shape of the bushes bothered me for a while. I had tried making them in a texture similar to the tree, but it turned out bad. The committent was happy with them, and I left them as they are.

@skeddles: color balancing is still something I definitely need to practice - thanks for pointing that out!

Those blue shades on stones in the bottom-left mockup... Superb! And overall, I don't think I know words to describe this... You must be coming from another planet.

@Mrmo Tarius, @vrine: I did try to antialias here and there, but apparently my aa skill is still not that good and I ended up having ugly banding everywhere, so I decided to upload this version instead. I will practice more, though
