I like the design, but he seems off balance.

Nice colors.  I don't think I really approve of having a higher res 64x64 version as the preview image though.  It looks much better than the 32 imo.  It also gives an unfair impression where many would likely vote for it based on the preview but the "actual" entry is a completely different pixel piece.

I like it.  I wanted to animate my entry but didn't feel like dedicating any more time to it.  

I find it a bit funny, since I am a programmer who is trying to learn art.  I feel like I want to create some art assets first before I start coding.  But really you should be able to do either first, if you are creating a game or any type of programming you need to map it out and plan before you write 1 line of code.  Otherwise things can get out of control pretty easily.  You might end up realizing after tons of hours coding that what you wrote won't even work for your newly evolved desired output.

The front wheel looks cut off in a strange way.

I like the face lol.  But I think maybe you have used too much dithering.  

@MasterSky, thanks for the input.  I added some frames inbetween the existing ones and I also attempted to give his free arm some slight movement.

This might look better without the black outline.  Otherwise I like the face shading.

The sword guy looks nice jumping around, but it looks a bit strange with the static snake monster already cut up and just sitting still.
