Pixel Joint Forum: WIP Mario Bruffaz Worlds

   Hi. First post, yay!

I've been working on a mockup flash game of Super Mario Bros. (titled
"Mario Bruffaz") on another forum (www.oneclickwifi.net for those who
care). I found this site...well, only half an hour ago. Anyways, I got
good response about my worlds there. But since this is a Pixel-based
site/forum, I'd be getting a more proffesional response. They're kinda
finished, but can be worked on a bit more.

World 1: Retro Road

World 2: Daring Desert

World 3: Frightening Forest

World 4: Line Lane

World 5: Shifting Sky

World 6: Chaos City

World 7: Outer Space

World 8: Magma Mountain

	They look good, but there's a lack of consistency - Number of colours used in each world is very different. You shouldn't see colours that well in the dark, maybe use blue tinted colours? First world is the only one that has a 3D perspective of the floor. Bushes in the background of world 3 probably shouldn't be outlined. The lighting falls flat, especially on the buildings... You should consider a definate light source. The dithering doesn't look right and isn't consistent in each of the worlds. The outline of the sand and clouds should probably be smoothed better, or removed to be consistent. Edited by Ravey - 10 November 2008 at 6:56am
