I desperately need to improve this because this is one of my Favorite pieces
and i reckon it could be improved

You should shade it. I see shines, but no shadows.

The part that dosent have the ship behind it looks to solid compared to the almost transparant part.

you dont necisarily need some one make an edit for you, just take advice and try to improve, although edits are a nice bonus

Well, you seem to know where your light source is (based on the shine, it appears to be the upper left), and the color of the ship is well-lit, so you really should be able to find where shadows would go by yourself... :/

why the banding? why the black outlines? try actually shading from a light source maybe

.....

edit:

fixed up:jagged lines, bad shapes, shading, teeth, eye, colours, other miniscule things.

If I were you (although I'm not), I wouldn't use such saturated colors for the ship. Other than that, follow skooba's advices and it should come out just fine.

And watch those black lines, too. It gives the piece and overall thickness that could be avoided.

Notice that im drawing on a midtone,
"A mid tone is a color that is mid saturation mid brightness."

Also look at the colors i used.
some shifting between hues,
"hue shifting is shifting slightly into other colors. an example would be sorta purple/blue getting lighter and lighter tell it's sorta Blue/Green"
