Message

   CHALLENGE: World Leader Caricature
Create a caricature of one of the current world leaders listed on this page. As it is a caricature you should be trying to emphasise and de-emphasise certain characteristics in order to depict your chosen leader. It does not have to be the leader of your own country. Also, please make sure to tell us in your description who your leader is. 

Bonus points for not doing Barack Obama*

*not really.

This piece by Jalonso may give you inspiration for this challenge.

 Canvas Size - Max 128 x 128.

 Colours - Max 32.

 Transparency - Optional.

 Animation - No.
CHALLENGE RULES
Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
Only new pixels allowed.
Open to all members.
Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.
CHALLENGE JUDGING
Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
Winner announced the following week.

	If I were going to do Benjamin Netanyahu I would make his face longer and maybe emphasise his chin a bit more.

	I just want to make sure this is legal, I'm going to make it George Bush wearing a mask of Obama. If its not legal, then I will change my concept. Just wanted it checked before I got too far.

	I think he's trying to put across that Obama's the main person. But, since he makes so many decisions like Bush did, Obama is just like Bush wearing a mask. Get it? Probably not... I got two hours of sleep and just had to piss in a cup to ensure I wasn't droppin' tabs of acid all summer long... >.>

	As clever as it may be, it's still a no. If you were doing a caricature of Obama then you would want to display all the characteristics associated with Obama, but doing Bush with an Obama mask means you would only partially be showing Obama's characteristics and vice versa. So that's a no to people with masks of other people/ people pretending to be other people/ representations of people who aren't on the list etc... etc...

	Bimbo: great, instant recognition! Maybe you might caricature a bit more? (no idea how!) Aleiav: your proportions look somewhere in-between to me, maybe a smaller body would be better? Also, aren't there too many lines on his face? Lucas: I don't like the elvish ears, Lula's ears look normal to me... ;-D His hair also looks like a cap. Maybe you could include traits of the younger Lula, when he was a union leader? (btw, total respect to this guy!) Hatch (and me): here's one, and another, hilariously funny ('make me a popular cut')! Time for some eye-candy from the past... First, the all-time god and master of French caricature: Honoré Daumier. Down on your knees, everyone! Who knows of equivalents from other countries? Caricature used to be called portrait-charge in French, just google it, there are tons. Some goodies from the first page: Franz Liszt, Fernandel, la Ménagerie impériale, Rossini.

	You do realise that Bill Clinton hasn't been a president for a while now...right? The challenge clearly asks for current world leaders only. Also, you're still jpegging. Don't save things as bmp if you're going to upload them to tinypic/photobucket etc...

	Manjaman, "I love my job" or "I love this job" would read a lot more naturally. Also, I'd personally prefer a looser, cartoony body, but that's just me. Nice work! :D

	Here's the latest. The mouth definitely needs some surgery. I completely redid the nose, hope it's better now. I'm not sure where to go with the hair, it's just all over the damn place.
