#26 seems like a good base although it's too empty to be considered as finished but yes it definitely gives an idea what it's going to be. In case Numberplay is still on the job it can be added as a WIP. Yet again I sent Numberplay a private message last month and there was no response. So I don't know.

WIP for #31 is on page 20. It seems mostly completed to me except the black area should be enriched with a simple texture.

Also #18 seems more or less complete to me. I think it may be added either it's complete or not. The owner of the tile, Top, didn't say anything about it though. Probably if it's not, Top will come back to complete it later.

Hey guys, I finally checked this thread (= read every single page), and it's just plain wow awesome. 0.0
The palette is wonderful, and there's a real collab spirit!

I really plan to grab a tile or two in the next weeks. So far I've had work, internet avoidance plans (didn't work), art block (bad), more work and stuff excuses, I definitely hope these will cease to bother me soon.
Underground stuff is so my thing. ;)

Why thanks, it was only that I always was into collab projects but this is the first time I found the courage to join and want to see it go as smooth as it began :) It's all of us that make it great though :)

PS: Jaker says he dropped #14 to work on #60.
PS2: Tile 24, while it uses 16 colors, I think it uses different colors. Couldn't fine the problem. But I fixed some color problems in 18 and 31, and are ready to be added. Here:


@Jaker; I think the statue needs more work. I can send an edit tomorrow maybe. EDIT: here's an edit to the statue part wholly. This looks more like a predator helmet.

@rephisto, your tile has 76 colors and its probably due to your file output or pen pressure if you use a stylus. Post if you need help fixing this. Your tile is terrific looking.

@Gecimen, are you helping Jaker Pot? I don't really know what your mini collab is all about? Also, what should we do about the TMNT 4tile collab? I don't think DrD is coming back :(... maybe Manupix will want to pick up that tile?

Well, i`m not on my pc, so i can`t really work on my tile *touchpad sucks*

@Gecimen: That helmet is pretty damn good! Mine where only a wip with the base structure of it, but you nailed it. I will remake it when i get back home in one week (maybe more).

@Jal: I won`t work on 14# anymore! HOW MANY TIME WE HAVE TO SAY IT?? /joking

@LuckyF; WTF?!? Those are two great tiles within 1 day But I must say #59 would compete for the "best tile ever award" if such an award existed.

@Jalonso; Yes I was trying to help Jaker Pot with the tile. Our mini collab was about Alien queen's hatchery (now with an AvP theme) It's not really a collab anymore though, as we're only two people left (Jaker and me). It'll be up to someone else to complete the alien queen herself. It would be great if LuckyF did that, since he knows a lot about the Aliens brand.

About our sweet little Technodrome collab, I don't think there's a rush to it, it stands there with all the clues in place, waiting for someone like Manupix or Dawnbringer to grab But in case noone grabs it somehow, I think you're the only one amongst the 3 participants that doesn't have a neighbouring tile to #12 *evil grin*

LuckyF, it looks like there is a wine red line between our tiles (your 59 one), i dunno if it is my fault or yours. Btw, there are some things that could be improved to blend better the tiles, but this part i can handle alone.

In 84 the tank I think could have a bit more volume. That's all I've got to critisize for everything you've posted... Please add them all

@Lucky. Nice, you make good use of those colors :) The alien-queen blends in with the background too much though... (yes, I know aliens are designed to blend in...we just wanna see that nasty critter a little better! :D)

Thanks for letting me still have the tile <3 (even though it's been over a month since my last wip =A=;;). Hopefully I'll be able to finish this up this week.

Fixed up the UFO. I think I'm going to add more contrast to the planet. It looks connected to that block piece above it.

The upper left border of your tile remains visible, you might break it more; the block above the planet could be moved outward (up & right) to the tile edge to free the planet. The little sphere could either go or remain free floating.

Guys I don't know if Dr D will ever come back but he hasn't been updating his tile for 3 and a half months now and it's been disturbing me a lot to see the incomplete tile, right in the middle of the collab, for too long. So I've sent private messages to him to check if he's totally forgotten about the tile, and got no answer. He's probably not around. So yesterday evening I said, hey why don't I give it a shot? And here's what I've got so far:


Maybe I can save the tile from never ending oblivion... Of course it's unless you guys have a hint about Dr D coming back.

@wish04; Great stuff. Very detailed. There's just a few empty green pixels on the very top corner.

I too am wondering what to do about that DrD tile #41 :(
I did PM him but no reply yet. It affects 4 other tiles already on there so I just can't remove it.
Your tile is great and we CAN place that one in to replace it. Neighboring tiles do play off the simple shapes so if you could add 1 or 2 back in it would be awesome. Notice the ball, for example, is across 2 tiles. Luckily that tile is mine so if you make something there I can edit mine or remove the ball and add more Tetris dancers???

E: To those who notice this thread jumps from top 'annoucement threads' to the bottom 'regular' threads. This happens whenever the main pic (first post) is updated and I always forget to re-label it right away

I can of course add a sphere there no probs. Actually I thought we might decide for something else there but the geometric statues complement eachother.

There I made it to blend with your tetris tile. Added a dancer too That hole in the ground is also a geometric shape (pyramid). Note that the new sphere is a bit different colored maybe you might want to fit that.

EDIT: If you want me to change the place of the sphere just tell me. It's a bit hidden behind the hammer at the moment.

I edited the Tetris tile. Will you tweak that bottom corner somehow. Looks like a floating flat rock. Do whatever and I'll blend into mine. Maybe a person there too?

Do you mean the circular rock with the hole or the very bottom corner? Can't see what's wrong with the bottom corner...

About Dr D, I think he can pick an empty tile when he comes back. I'm guessing that won't be any time soon, though. 3,5 months is quite long for one tile even if you're very busy. He must have totally forgotten about the collab. You needn't worry I think.

I was thinking some form of connecting rocky doorway (reds)
I will place E.T. (with glowing finger) on the ledge of my tile to tie in with wish04's UFO. E.T is regarded as the worst videogame of all time and with so many gaming references everywhere it seems like a good idea to me :/

LuckyF: you might have added a few pixels to the tentacles from a3um's tile 64 to your 72; also you and / or Mooner should edit the 29-36 boundary.
Kren should add some water texture to his 79 (pirate boat) to blend with the neighboring tiles, esp 72.

@Jalonso; hmm so you think the disc rock is above the other one? Ok I'll add an element to hold it. Also I think E.T. is a good reference, though you could add it along with some kids on bicycle.

@Manupix; why don't you grab a tile? Also I think the problem between 29-36 is within Mooner's tile. Also if Kren sees this, he can make the upper edge of the waterfall a bit more distorted. It's too straight at the moment.

Ok checked again, you were right. On the left side of your tile the rocks go up a level. So this side should do the same too.

How bout this? I think it blends much better.

I quite like the looks of the disc-rock, wouldn't want to cover that.
