Alright, so this is my first ever sprite animation thing. My first post too!
Tell me what I've done wrong. How do I get better? What should I think about? I have two versions, it's still very rough: ![]() ![]() and sprites: ![]() |

It could use a little more vertical up/down movement. Typically when the leg is straight down, you are higher than you are when you are landing on a heel. I think -_-;;

If you run without your head going up and down, I'd almost get the impression you were trying to run like a ninja. Unfortunately, yes, you'll have to re-sprite if you want to achieve a more realistic animation. In your case, your contact position also seems to be your passing point..
which may be the reason why your legs are straight on a contact. |
