Hello fellas. I just wanted to know what software you use to create pixel arts. Can you suggest me a good software which is free and can help me animate?

GraphicsGale is one I commonly use, for animations especially, as it's easy to figure out. Unfortunately if you want to save .Gifs through that program, you must purchase the registered version - I believe it was only $10.00 USD though, so it's not bad.
For pixel art, any program that is user friendly is a good one. I often use the Windows 7 Paint which works just fine for making static pixels. |

I'm sure there are ten thousand existing forum threads about this, try searching.
And I'd use something with real palette control options like Grafx2 over Win7Paint. |

I used grafx2 but I found it difficult to handle, moreover we can't animate in it, right?
