First - dont post pixel art into the main gallery unless it's finished. When people see it there they'll assume it's a finished piece and perhaps wont bother with a WIP topic they see on it.

As for the image:
the shading seems very pillow shaded. Not entirely, as you do have shadows and highlights that define some form, but you always bring it back to the medium color around the edges

The other major problem i see is that the arms seem very noodly. He lacks shoulders for the most part, the arm on the left becomes this odd blob as it goes to fold under the other one - mostly that it bends at what should be a straight arm. The other arm is just a bend without a defined elbow.

Look at some photos of people with their arms crossed (or yourself in a mirror) to get a better idea of how they should look
