Hey all,
I was just wondering about scale. I would eventually like to create a scene where everything is to a certain scale. That being characters in the scene would be able to move about the room as if it were a real room. Any tips on how one can achieve this, how to create furniture/people/objects all to the scale they should be. Thanks all :) |

I don't quite understand. In order to draw everything to scale, you just draw everything to scale. Create a human sprite first so you know what size to make everything else. Compare this sprite to your doorways, height of tables and counters, size of appliances, etc.

What is a generally good size for a canvas though? I am just not sure what size to build on.

Its going to be pixelart? The smallest possible size you can based on how much details the people need to show. Start with those and scale around them as mentioned by cure. Its that easy :)
