If I may, I would like to reserve tile #8 once it becomes available(if it currently is not, since I assume I am not allowed to do anything until #15 is done). I would like to make it connect the portal from #66.

Also another note for border tiles. If your next neighbor is already done, you can invade whatever empty pixels they have left (e.g. if you pick 8, you can enter 7's empty space. But do it without touching their pixels too much. So for example if you have a tentacle monster there, its 1 tentacle can go to the next tile a little. |

@Asmodeusss: No, no, I can't even take that since it will touch my tile. Part of the collab will be in the tile. It is more that if you are itching to start on the portal then maybe it's better to chose a different tile since it will take a few days to a week depending on how much time I have to work on it.
It is a scientific illustration for an article in a magazine. Funny, right? @Gecimen: A rocket being launched into space! If I can pull it off, haha. If not I will think of something else. |

@Drazile: As mentioned earlier; green does not interpolate the gray and purple/indigo. And why not ramp up the specularities on the rounded metal?

Sorry for the radio silence; work kicked me in the face and left me too tired to stare at pixels once I got home.
Here's my wip; I'm super-new at this so I'd prefer to not step on toes and I can change my edges to fit whatever the people around me do (I guess I'll need to work in those colored cables from the top of 32?) Either way C+C much appreciated if anyone has the time to give it. ![]() |

Great job Schazer. I was just working on my tile which neighbors yours. I tried not to get into your tile but it seems the chair and the metal box will jump in :p

Like 'Tron'. Maybe to add some more depth you could make the floor change level by making the purple floor a little higher by one step or two. I tried to keep the 'flares' but i couldnt make it look good. But i think the brain looks now more 2.5D-ish. But - I'm also not very happy with the whole comcept of 'something-brainish'... Because of that i changed the tile completly. I think it fits better the collaboration. What do you guys think? ![]() @jalonso, can you please add a few pixels on your tile for the bold guy? |
