Hey,

Currently drawing some yellow stone blocks for pushing around in a game, I'm going for an Egyptian pyramid feel. I am quite happy with the current look but definitely feel they could be improved.

I think you should increase contrast and hue shifting. You should also keep a smaller number of colors in your palette, because it looks like you're blending colors without control. Like so:
