Pixel Joint Forum: Artwork was mistaken as WIP

   Hello, my work http://pixeljoint.com/pixels/submit_icons.asp?id=115983

was misunderstood as incomplete, possibly because I wrote concept in the title.

This is a completed scene that has been used within the game and many variations of it. I don't believe Unity screenshots are accepted, so this png is the exact presentation of how the scene looks like without any programmed lighting.

This is not a WIP because there will be no more updates for this scene. I understand if self promotion is not allowed, but I didn't see it anywhere in the rules.

I'm mentioning self promotion because my another artwork which is clearly completed: http://pixeljoint.com/pixelart/115967.htm 

is still awaiting approval, whereas artworks without the links were approved within 30 mins. 

I don't mind revising the artwork but I don't understand what is expected. Help is very appreciated.

	You gave the wrong URL, that's the URL to edit the piece, visible only to you. The URL of the piece is http://pixeljoint.com/pixelart/115983.htm Was "WIP" the reason given for the rejection? If not, I suspect the actual reason is the NPA (non-pixel art) glow effects in the image. If you edit those out, it should be fine. Self-promotion is allowed and plenty of artworks with links to people's sites, commission pages, games, etc are approved. If your description is nothing but self-promo links, that might make you look bad, but that's about it.

This is not to say you cannot resubmit the piece in the future after revising it. We encourage you to participate in our forums which include a Work in Progress (WIP) category. This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge and feedback for your pixel pieces before submitting them for approval on the main site. If you feel this is a mistake please post a FRIENDLY message in the Resources/Support section of the forum and we'd be happy to discuss it with you. Responses to this issue within the gallery site will be ignored.
