Today I have something to offer you that has been sitting on my shelf for a few years now.

I doubt many, if any of you, have ever heard of Guilded.gg. The platform was founded as a competitor to Discord, intended to offer everything Discord offers (including the stuff gated behind its Nitro subscription) plus some neat new features, all for pretty much free!

In addition to text and voice channels, there's Announcement channels that read like blog posts; Calendar channels where people can create and sign up for events; Scheduling channels where people can log their available time for activities; Forums channels that work like all other forum sites; Docs channels that allow people to write whatever they want; and Media channels where people can post their art without losing it to walls of text. And that's just the channel variety!
