So, first WIP. There is A Lot going on in this tile, I noticed.
Still not sure how to integrate the rollercoaster into the waterfall. Maybe it can enter a pipe, or just move straight through the waters? And the shadow the ship casts on land doesn't really make much sense to me.

Yeah I honestly don't really know what to do with that little piece of land, there's not a lot of space to work with without disrupting the ship or the edge of the water. Any suggestions?

And again, the shadow cast by the ship goes further on land which is higher up than the water, and that seems wrong. should I just make the shadow on the water really long, or do #84 need revising?

I do believe I can still make changes to my tile, so assuming that's the case I can change some things in #91 if you need it, Trig. I doubt I can change #61 though

Ok, time for another WIP.


Lotsa things still feel a bit wonky, particularly the roller coaster track. But It's getting there. I made the edge of the land round of a little bit instead of being straight, hopefully that will make it look less abrupt? Also the ships shadow no longer look weird, making it longer went better than expected.

If anything needs changing with the track, you best tell me now before I get too deep into shading and texturing.

Hi i'm terribly late with my tile sorry. I have a hard time figuring out how to make the connection between the two side tiles, @b236 would you mind giving me some hinsight on your intent with tile 96, to get some ideas on how i should tackle this :D I'm not sure i understand what the boxy brown shape behind the dome but in front of the cliff is supposed to be. And are the two light blue lines on top of it are suppose to indicate that it's behind a glass or am i misreading this completely? (by the way, fun trivia : this beautifull tile was used as a placeholder to develop the first iteration of wepixel)

hey, what's up!
back in the day when this collab just started we had an idea to include underwater tunnel - that's what that brown boxy thing is (with the glass round ceiling).
and behind / below that tunnel isn't a cliff - that's actually body of shipwreck gawrone asked for. so it was meant to look roughly like this:

with texture on the shipwreck i tried to mimic it to be covered with marine life:

but i understand that at this stage it isn't much obvious what it is.

you're honestly in difficult spot with the tile 95 as on top of those two things there is the problem that the underground wasn't meant to be under water, which was happily ignored by others :]]

all i can think of is to finish the shipwreck, turn the tunnel down and make a huge wall with air lock to separate water on the left from the underground complex on the right.
but maybe you have better ideas what to do there...

So I am almost done I think.


I thought my first solution to ending the waterfall was a bit boring, so I tried something different, but I'm not sure if the perspective/geometry actually work like that. Which one should i go with? I also accept other suggestions.

You can make water drop until it gets behind the roller coaster track so it doesn't look abruptly cut off.

With all those other clowns about and two whole batmen, it was only a matter of time before this guy showed up. Still a lot of empty space about, I'll figure out some more stuff to put in before I start finalizing the ground textures.

Hi, gorgeous tile!!! Quick question, what is the end of the water tunnel supposed to be ? Based on b236 comment i had started some sort of underwater observatory but now that you were quicker to end your tile i'm not sure what to do and if I should continue with this idea. It's still a rough sketch as i sadly didn't had much time to work on it, but i'll try to take some time this week to finish it

Still a long way to go with this, but I think I have a decent way to tie the wall back into the gate at least.
I do not recognize the blue creature to the left, but tried to finish it as best as I could. If anyone knows what it is, lemme know and I'll correct anything I missed.

Is Gecimen on vacation? It's probably safe to start working on it even if he hasn't confirmed your claim yet. About #57: when I did #42 I may have added too much shadow form the merry-go-round. If it needs any changing to make sure the shadow makes sense, let me know and I'll submit an edit.

I think the darker part of the cobblestone path in amazonite's tile (#50) is supposed to be shadow from the merry-go-round, you're either gonna have to make the shadow much larger or come up with some other reason why the path suddenly becomes darker to connect to that tile.

My idea is to have a small area with stalls housing shops, food, and carnival games, perhaps connecting to to the main path via #22, #21, and #14. The guy with the pie on the head? Just some classical art rep.

@Gecimen: Ah, I thought a neighboring side (in this case 90) needed to be finished. Not sure if I dare touch 98, it's very big and seems like it's gonna need some complicated roller coaster moves, but I'll think about it for a bit.

@Krugelix: Nice to see you back, new treehouse looks good! Feeling a bit bad for Korban though, who made an almost complete WIP for 6 based on the airplane in your previous WIP.

I think i'm more happy with that direction. Not sure what i'll do yet with the water tunnel at the top yet, maybe i'll do that observatory thing in previous wip, but i couldn't progress because of it so i got rid of it. It's been quite hard to decide how i should handle the transition between underground water and nothing, so i went with some sort of water gate if everyone's ok with that. Btw the car that look like an hamburger definitely gonna go, it's already quite busy on this tile... A lot of refining to do but it's getting there
