another piece.... maybe my second entry for the joint ;)

how thread subject says, this is a sort of space prison...

later, I'll animate the piece... I think I'll do lasers flashing or appear/disappear

how about? what can I change/better?

Another awesome room.

Don't forget to add some laser fence generators in the lowest room corner.

Can't wait to see it done.
Reaching out to embrace the random.
Reaching out to embrace whatever may come.

I embrace my desire
to swing on the spiral of our divinity
and still be a human.

uhm... if you are thinking about the laser fence on the glass cube... it is the reflex of the bigger one

yap... I finally understand what didn't work!!

the laser fence-corner... has no solid corner!

here three different solutions:

1.1   2.2   3.3

I think 3rd is the best one... what about you?

I'd go with nuber 1, but I'm sure some people would like 2 or 3 better, so choose what you think is the best.

I'd go with 1 or 2 personally.

I think the laser field could use some highlights so they don't look so flat. Also, why have the dude inside a glass casing when the room itself is protected by a laser field? I think you should also add some furnishing of some sort > a cot, a toilet and sink. Take a look online at some prisons (both fictional and factual) and see what they have to offer for ideas.

okay, with order:

was in my plans to get the fence more really, but is the last thing i wanna do, after fixed bigger problems

about furnitures I thinked the cell like a sort of "maximum security isolation cell" ... and in all the movies I seen (luckily I never seen a real one) isolation cell were empty rooms ;)

the glass cube is the "first cage", the real cell.... laser fence is a sort of security obstacle :)

Think for another inscription for "ISO.CELL #1" now look very thin and high ...

... and agree with pixelblink for furnishing :)

added the loo and the alarm (if I'll decide to put it in final image, I think it will flash...), very little bit textured the walls and changed the inscription....

yap, also a bit lightened the fence

Make sure your animation doesn't break past the top of the walls or it will not show up.

i like this one!!
maybe you could get the lasers to animate a bit to show that they
are moving, like a spark now and again, or a pulsating wave through
the lasers,

finally animated!!!

finished this night, I'm really satisfied by the piece

yo!

...I know it shouldn't break past the top of the walls, but if I submit it like now it's a problem, or simply the outside part will not show up?

C&C are welcome!!

It will show up fine, but the ceiling of the apartment will be covered up... just look at some of the existing submissions to see what i mean. Check/uncheck the "show exterior walls".

I know,  I also had some tries to check how it will show, masking the room with the joint corridor walls....

btw clicking on it, it will be shown entirely right?

what about animation work? let's go, destroy me boys!!

I think this is joint-ready dude. I like that you actually put the time and effort into getting feedback, updating, getting more feedback, updating again, getting even more feedback, and then producing the animation. There will always be things in everybody's work that I will think I would do differently. But that wouldn't make it your own original work. Kudos to you for a piece well done

That's exactly right.

Edit: Btw, thank you for taking the time to demonstrate that.

now I'm doing 100x100 preview for the submission....
