Alright, alright. Well it WORKS in the new Firefox... But the image zoom plugin for Firefox is not compatible yet, and using Pixel Joint's - and + buttons makes the pixel art blurry as shown here...

I think this has been brought up elsewhere, but I dunno if anything was concluded. I'll edit with links, hopefully.
Nice self-esteem, BTW. :P

Ahhh they joys of "better zooming". :(
Reminds me of all the arcade game collections that ruin the art to fit my TV.

Doesn't really work for safari either, but you can always copy it, paste it, and zoom in paint or some other program.

The Firefox version I'm using is the 3.0 alpha, not the latest release of 2.0
I used to use 2.0 with Image Zoom and it worked fine. However, looks like the upcoming release of Firefox is gonna stink up pixel resizing. >< For now I'll stick to copy and pasting like Aleiav suggested. |

That is a feature called 'bilinear filtering'. Sadly, I too am suffering the same thing atm. Apparently there is a way to alter the source code to set the default to 'off' for that filtering thingy but have as of yet been able to alter mine (mac).
I posted on the mozilla forum and most people don't understand why I or anyone would want to see sharp pixels ![]() There was a long thread with some great comments/explanations/solutions a while ago here. I have searched all over including page by page but can't find it anywhere. Sedge had a news item regarding this too, can't find that either. |

This stuff only works well when the subject is already photographic in nature or has many many colors. Pixel art is being trampoled in the persuit of picture quality. :( I need a hug. |

vector art doesnt need this, vectors display correct at any size. thi stuff is only good for people that are stooopid enough to use images in a noncorresponding comparative size .

Well, SVGs are supported natively by Firefox/Opera and have plugins for Safari/IE :o
Yeah, I use Opera now (Firefox is hogging a lot of memory), and the 'bilinear filtering' pisses me off :( |
