Hi !
My pixel art was refused. I would like to have your opinion to improve it and i would like to know the precise reasons of the rejection. Thanks ! ![]() |

The entire piece lacks contrast - You should make the shadows darker, and add more texture to it - make the outline a bit jaggy to represent fur. I also didn't realise those were the cat's paws until a few seconds. You also need to define a clearer light source - it's the only way you'll portray form effectively.
Also, instead of making a plain black outline, you could make a darker outline of the color of the object you're doing. Makes the outline less shocking. |

Take off the black outline. Also, his feet should be showing... it looks like they were cut off.

The black outline doesn't do much for the piece around it. It just makes it look jagged and strange. Maybe if you used more selective outlining and not black, a darker yellow, it wouldn't look so jagged.
