DUDE! get rid of that "Glow of Banding Madness" !!

seriously, mate, get rid of the glow, or start over in that department, as it doesn't add anything atm.

the wing thing itself is ok, I guess.

Personally you could pull off a one-pixel glow in any color but white... but it's your choice.
Anyways, the rest looks good, but it might look better transparent.

I believe what you're attempting to do there is antialiasing, also known as AA. Unfortunately you've executed it poorly. Nothing to be ashamed of, as AA is tricky. It may be helpful to check out some tutorials.

The first step is cleaning up your lines: they've got jaggies all over the place. Once you've cleaned them up the best you can, then you can antialias. I've done a bit to give you an idea of how it might look:



It's not great AA as I'm just learning to do it properly myself, but hopefully it helps a little.
