This comp is open to everyone and is quite simple. Submit your ultimate 13 color unique & original color palette.

These palettes are not to be considered art so no adding to your galleries. The winning palette will be used on PJ's latest collab project so if you make a palette you acknowledge that it will be used by others for the purpose of this project and credit may not be posted by participants if they submit their project piece to their gallery but you will get overall credit for it.

* It's best to assume that other's may use your palette so by entering you are giving permission to all.

Win a spiffy trophy + points which are rare and will look great in your profile.

* Honorable mentions may be given for this contest as needed.

Judging will be held by your PJ Mods, with some PJ members asked for private input. (You may comment on your fave palettes and sway the vote).

Winning palettes will be picked on the basis of overall quality + how it would work on the project theme, which will be kept a mystery for this contest to participants. A unique + original palette is the goal but a well balanced palette is important too.

There's no mention of how many palettes we can submit, so is it safe to assume we can submit multiple palettes?

this may sound like a lame question, but how do we get or hex code to appear above each color as in the template?

I went with a theme for my palette. I call it The Night palette ;). Still wip so critique is apreciated :)
I'll update the codes later

Well, here is mine.
Still something of a WIP, so I wouldn't call it an official entry yet.

Still have to do some testing, but after doing some palette swapping on some pieces, I think it looks nice.
(Took forever to get the orange to work as a highlight for both the brown and the red though...)

So, here is a mockup that I made with this palette.
I am going to adjust the red and blue as DawnBringer suggested, then I will call this my final entry.

 I have no clue if the palette is good or bad.  I'm really no artist nor do I have a knowledge of color theory.  I took my 20 color palette from last challenge and stripped it down.  The result is a smaller palette with better fluidity. i'll add hex #'s soon.  Should I make the white whiter?

I looked at Friend’s awesome palette, compared it to mine, moved a few colors around between my palette and his, and desaturated ALL THE THINGS.

If the palette is yours, it's ok up to some point (as we wouldn't know it unless you said it). Can you please also add the hexes?

Oh, sorry about that:

flyguy, I think the new version is too saturated.
 tropicalsnowcone, I like your palette a lot.  it has a sense of space too it in how the desaturated tones float to your rgb colors.

Okay, finished the rough draft, but can't be bothered to do any mockups right now, so I'll post some test stuff later, as well as cleaning up the corner with the ramp tests and putting in the hex codes. Feels like I'm missing something- ideas? I figure I should reduce that blue ramp to at most 3 colors and replace the extra space with something more useful. Maybe pink?
