@dragfly, I will make the source of the floor lights in the top corner of my tile and it might jump into yours so if you want to start something up there I'm open to anything.

@Jeremy, I could not avoid making that last white tile which needs a few pixels.

Base done for now until #86 posts something.

I will just continue whatever #86 comes up with in that area.
Same applies to neighbor on the left.
I just wanted to have both of those neighbors know what's happening.

Here is an update of my WIP tile (#95):

It is shown both with a transparent background and with a black one.

About the flying girl: I am not satisfied with the posture/shape of the body. I don't know yet how to improve it.

About the workbenches/cables: I need to move/rework the workbench so that the flying girl is looking straight at the red button (she tries to stop the flying machine). Maybe there is too much details on the left part of the tile.

Also, maybe I should add something on the right side of the tile.

Comments are welcome.

The easiest way to show the girl is in the air is to make sure you have a ground shadow or else she might look like she's laying on the floor.
Even if the shadow is not quite correct because of the hole in the pyramid you'll need it.
You could move the box with the button close to the hole to achieve this.
This new pyramid is nice.

Cleaned up some things, and added some reflection on samus.
May I have tile 47 next?

To the creator of tile #88 (below and to the left of mine.) I was wondering if you'd consider updating your tile so it fits with mine as it is. I think it would flow from previous tiles better as there's a bit of a continuation issue in your tile anyway (other than that it looks great though! Metroids rock!). Thanks.

@ CuriousBeefJerky, this you see this note for you?

You can have 47, its reserved :)

Thank you, here's a wip of it.
Also, what is the green thing from tile 48 that goes into my tile? I can't figure out how to continue it, so I might wait to see what 55 does with it.

The thing on 48 seems to be a liquid filled tube but you can make that be whatever you see too. These collabs lend themselves to these twists and make for an overall better finished picture so be creative.

Updated WIP. Probably won't do much more to the  bottom edges, so others should be able to build off of it.

That's a good solution for the tube.
It could be clever if you added another dude inventing the wheel?

Here's a WIP for #15 to show I didn't drop off the face of the Earth. :) Realistic rockets proved too much of a challenge and I couldn't make it work scale-wise, so I decided to do another kind of rocket.

Will anyone want to complete this?! ^_^;;;

"We've forgotten the crackers!"

Fun fact: I have seen this rocket IRL!

@Curiousbeefjerky, seems great man! (The note Jal said is not for you but for Mega 19)

@Clownaround; that detail you asked is not very significant to ask for a change. Sometimes finding participants can be a pain.

@Mirre; hell yes! Amazing stuff! I'm sure there'll be many people who jump in. Please tell me when it's ready to be put up on the main image.

The tile is 1 px smaller on each side.

The only improvement that comes to me is the white tiles... They're a bit too repetitive. I can think of many ways to play with it.

@Finlal; I think you can begin.

I'll call this done for now, unless anyone has any crits. I'm leaving the bottom pretty open, so I can conform to tiles 67 & 68.

May I reserve 71?

Well if everybody left their borders open for future tiles, we wouldn't have much to go on, would we? The green space at the moment doesn't look finished, I can't tell if it's grass because of the lack of texture.

@Gecimen: Thank you!

I think it is pretty much done now. Yay! Might come back and tweak little details, but should be fine for Finlal to work from.

Oh, and could I request Gromit to be added to either tile 8 or 23 somewhere? :)

@DawnBringer: Thanks! I've been trying to explore the palette a bit. That example you posted (with the stars and boxes) of how some of them can be used was really helpful too.

@Finlal: Awesome! Yeah, he could be skiing down a hill somewhere. :D

Added a simple fence to the bottom of #60, and some little tweaks to #4.

I'm not so sure about #4's new highlights, they seem too strong.

@Mirre, that photo is helpful, thanks.
About skiing - I've already drawn the robot reading the magazine, so no skies for him.

EDIT. Also, you have some #000000 on your tile.

And here it is. I say it's done for now, depending on the neighboring tiles still to be drawn. But, until then, it's done. C+C still welcome.

Clownaround you have a lot of wrong colors here. I can fix them for you but I may overwrite some details so it's not for the best.

Just a question. I wonder if I would be able to import this idea onto another community. I really enjoy the concept of collabs and would like to participate with another community filled with talented pixel artists.

Basically, I'm asking permission to import this idea onto another forum.

Minimal progress with my tile. Been really busy.

Of course. We have no rights on collabs.
We would not like you using our grid, palette, images and the right up of the rules.
You can use what we do here as your starting ref.

By all means. Also check http://tzigla.com/ for excellent ideas.
I would strongly recommend a strict ruleset if you want it to be a good collab. If you let me know where you want to start one, I can help with the setup.

Update for tile #95.

@alonso: thanks for the advices -> Added the shadow below the girl + small edit of the girl + some tweaking of the control buttons (position, shadow).

I still need to do something with the platform around the laser hole (I added some "cool" green objects as place holder for the moment).

Comments welcome.

Some of your colours are ever so slightly different to the colours of the palette, such as the orange darkest blue.

WIP for #23:

Trying to decide whether to have Gromit all outlined like that or not. I think I will.

@Jeremy, I'm not entirely sure what you were thinking on the corner of your tile and if that area is being sucked up by the vortex. I just wondered if the pixels in black are missing from your tile or that's supposed to be all white.

@Tidybraveguinea, will you be adding something that will fit into the theme at all?

@ClownAround, the hex codes in the palette are the exact colors that can be used. You can always double check your colors using the 'image specs tool' found in the top menu of the gallery.

The theme for this isometric collaboration is science, inventions, molecules, germs, atoms, experiments, explosions, germ warfare, Rube Goldberg type things, Steampunky and Cyberpunky. Open to anything at all including mutations of creatures so long as its all within the theme in some manner.

Now you say steampunk doesn't fit into the theme?

Okay, so... I've gotten a tad bit busy with something else (art related, of course), and I don't think I'll be able to finish the tile I currently have. As such, I'd like to let go of it and let someone else have the tile instead :) I'm fine with just one completed tile.
Might decide to go for a tile again later on though. But for now I can't.

No what you have is fine I was just asking because I took the cyber and steam punk look as part of the theme not an exclusive :/
