@dragfly, I will make the source of the floor lights in the top corner of my tile and it might jump into yours so if you want to start something up there I'm open to anything.

Here is an update of my WIP tile (#95):
![]() It is shown both with a transparent background and with a black one. About the flying girl: I am not satisfied with the posture/shape of the body. I don't know yet how to improve it. About the workbenches/cables: I need to move/rework the workbench so that the flying girl is looking straight at the red button (she tries to stop the flying machine). Maybe there is too much details on the left part of the tile. Also, maybe I should add something on the right side of the tile. Comments are welcome. Edited by dragfly - 03 July 2015 at 10:23am |

The easiest way to show the girl is in the air is to make sure you have a ground shadow or else she might look like she's laying on the floor.
Even if the shadow is not quite correct because of the hole in the pyramid you'll need it. You could move the box with the button close to the hole to achieve this. This new pyramid is nice. |

The thing on 48 seems to be a liquid filled tube but you can make that be whatever you see too. These collabs lend themselves to these twists and make for an overall better finished picture so be creative.

Here's a WIP for #15 to show I didn't drop off the face of the Earth. :) Realistic rockets proved too much of a challenge and I couldn't make it work scale-wise, so I decided to do another kind of rocket.
Will anyone want to complete this?! ^_^;;; ![]() "We've forgotten the crackers!" Fun fact: I have seen this rocket IRL! |

Well if everybody left their borders open for future tiles, we wouldn't have much to go on, would we? The green space at the moment doesn't look finished, I can't tell if it's grass because of the lack of texture. |

@DawnBringer: Thanks! I've been trying to explore the palette a bit. That example you posted (with the stars and boxes) of how some of them can be used was really helpful too.

Just a question. I wonder if I would be able to import this idea onto another community. I really enjoy the concept of collabs and would like to participate with another community filled with talented pixel artists.
Basically, I'm asking permission to import this idea onto another forum. Minimal progress with my tile. Been really busy. |

![]() @alonso: thanks for the advices -> Added the shadow below the girl + small edit of the girl + some tweaking of the control buttons (position, shadow). @Jeremy, I'm not entirely sure what you were thinking on the corner of your tile and if that area is being sucked up by the vortex. I just wondered if the pixels in black are missing from your tile or that's supposed to be all white.
![]() @Tidybraveguinea, will you be adding something that will fit into the theme at all? @ClownAround, the hex codes in the palette are the exact colors that can be used. You can always double check your colors using the 'image specs tool' found in the top menu of the gallery. |

Okay, so... I've gotten a tad bit busy with something else (art related, of course), and I don't think I'll be able to finish the tile I currently have. As such, I'd like to let go of it and let someone else have the tile instead :) I'm fine with just one completed tile.
Might decide to go for a tile again later on though. But for now I can't. |
