Made bottom line so Drazile wouldn't have to wait.
Btw, you can draw whatever you want on your tile, I'll adapt.

Tile #31 finished.

To commemorate the announcement of Fallout 4.

edit: Forgot to reserve a tile, #68.

@gogglecrab: Maybe it's better to work without that black frame around your tile. It's a bit hard to see how it blends with the surrounding tiles with it being there. Apart from that it's a nice start!

@drain: Your tile is very nicely done. But what has it got to do with science? Now I'm not familiar with the Fallout games, but when I look at the tile I'm afraid I can't really see anything science-y? I'm worried we're making too much fan art on this collab, haha.
Also, here's a way to fix the lips of the plant on #43. :)

@Mirre Fallout is a game series that revolves around the post-apocalyptic world of the Wasteland (a.k.a USA). The vault (the door with 101 labelled on it) is an invention by Vault-Tec for saving the remaining sane and normal people inside, but in reality it was a scam used to get human test-subjects for various experiments.

I think the "scam used to get human test-subjects for various experiments" part was somewhat sciency, so yeah.

Plus, Vault Boy (the person in the middle of the tile) is the mascot of Vault-Tec, a company devoted to science.

edit: Also, I was working on my tile when I spotted something odd.

The shape of the tiles abruptly change when from one to another, this isn't really a serious issue, but it'd be nicer if this were to be fixed.

@drain: Ah, okay I get it! I would maybe put more of the vault in your tile since I thought it was just added as background decoration, and the guy seems to be the centerpiece. Could make it slightly bigger so that we can read the "101" as well? I also googled "fallout vault" and it seems to have a control panel to the left side of it which you could add to get some more detail into your tile. :)

Thanks Finlal, but it seems your tile is one pixel too short. Wait, no it isn't! Which of us claims that line between the tiles?

Anyway, here's what I've done so far, and a minor fix for #60.

Those craters are definitely unfinished, and that purple circle is going to be a sort of secret trapdoor.

Also, if there was any confusion, gogglecrab's tile fits in with its surrounding tiles perfectly.

You mean #24, right? You should probably try to join up with tile #31 better (see above posts).

As for the tile itself, I don't mean to be rude, but what is it supposed to be? A fetus?

Here is an update for tile #95:

I consider it as finished, but let me know if you don't think so (I am not an expert in pixel art and comments/advices are welcome).

Hello ClownAround; at the moment, nothing in the tile is isometric. First off, the head should be iso, then it's supposed to be in scale with everything else, unless we can understand it's something else than a human head.

Not that it's a must but maybe you can consider the tile below. Or if you wish I can add a few pixels of sand.

@Mirre: Noted!

Playing around with the textures some more, trying to make it look a bit more "Spacey" so to speak.

Any tips for improvement, color or otherwise would be much obliged!

I find your tile really beautiful and very nicely pixelled. You have improved so much since joining PJ
I have some issues with your tile design you might want to consider.
The main thing I suppose is that the white breaks or swirls are reading more like a graphic 2D treatment than iso elements. Is there a way to make this element clearly more iso'd? The bottom area is much better than the top area.
It does not help that what's behind it is 'space' which is the only 'bg world' that exists in iso but here too is not reading iso :/
Overall the tile is missing the overall theme, imo.
Perhaps a spaceship, satellite or jet pack rider could fix that?

@gogglecrab:
It's looking great. I have a small concern:
The fact that the "space" is spread as a "Venom"ish substance is confusing. Can you somehow help clarify that? Is the "space" supposed to be visible through a crack on the floor or is it something else?

Minor fix to tile #95: there were 3 pixels in the bottom area that were black instead of being transparent.

@alonso: are you still working on tile #94? What is the edit process as part of your WIP is overlapping with the bottom part of my tile?

Real story
Some guy had a youtube video where some song is played on the intro only.
People started to ask what song this was.
On next videos, he added the name of the song on the intro (hardcoded on video, if you disable youtube "subtitles" it will not disable this.
Some guys still asked what the song name was (on those new videos)

Your tile is fine for my tile. I'm only using the very corner of your tile to connect with machinery.
The rest of my tile will be a creature on dirt or sand to bring yellows to that area that is so blue.

WIP for #34:

Should give darchangel something to work from on that side!

Also I noticed while working on this that the top of the other green container is not an ISO circle. It's in tile #33 I think?

Such things are not hard to do. If you can't find a way out, you can cover it with a bigger object in the front or add some rubble to break stuff.

@Gecimen: My intention was to have it sort of a "tear in the fabric of reality" type thing. Like space itself is being sucked into the black hole/portal in the tile below, hence the Venom-esque space dust stuff. Looking back now though it's a bit too flat to look like much of a cloud/fog.

@Jalonso: Well thank you kindly, That's means a lot coming a man such as yourself. Anyhow, after taking a bit of a break from it, I think I can see what you and Geci were talking about. As you said, I don't think there's enough dimension to it for it to read as iso.

This is just rough example, but before I rework it too much, adding some shadows and highlights as such should improve on the iso aspect of it, no?

An update to tile #47

Also an update to #96 to make the green spines look closer to sjhwi1a's tile.

@sjhwi1a Cool tile. Hehe I was hoping someone would have a good reason that guy got stabbed.

May I have tile #5 next?

WIP of 9, not sure how I feel about it, I had something a bit more grand in mind,

Edit:
Ouch this is my bad:
I did 46 as a spur of the moment thing and I thought I had made sure it wasn't picked. But I see now tidybraveguinea had already started it. Maybe I can move my tile somewhere else though when a suitable spot opens up

No probs Reo. I will move Tidybraveguinea's reservation to one below; 61, as his last WIP was not tile-specific.

Tidy, is #61 ok for you or would you like another?

Finlal your reservation is not nearly old enough to be cleared. Sorry for not clarifying. The pixellers I am still expecting an answer are Schazer and Shadowdrake.

As a reminder, here are the time rules again:
• Once you reserve a tile you must post an initial WIP within 7 days so it doesn't hold others up.
• Once you post an initial WIP you get 14 days to update your tile or post a comment letting us know its active. Every new WIP/post update (busy, school, work, sick, moving, etc.) thereafter buys you 14 days.
