You can make the chest plates look rounded simply in the way you shade them. Also the foot look too stiff, it should be bent as it touches the ground.

The piece doesn't seem to have a consistent lightsource in some places. Try to shade the entire thing to show light hitting the top of the forms, like you do on the chest plates and shoe. The forehead and legs, as well as his left arm (our right), could really use to be shaded to that lightsource, but try to get the whole piece to show it. Keep up the good response to the crits you're getting.

RPG is numberwang.

yes, the thing with the lightsource is right.. don`t look at the weapons! i copyed the left one and paste it mirrored on the other side... it`s provisional.

the light source will be the left upper corner.

some ideas which color the light should have?
make examples plz i am not shure of that

a white light maybe...will see

i dont want to ruin the pic with a wrong light color.. so can u plz help me?

Right now I think a white light source would be best, then as you gain skill start to expand in later pieces.

I dont think anyone has said this yet, but it'd be best not to dither the chest plates - if you want the metallic look, make the shading smooth and sleek like you did on the guns.  The dithering gives it a rough texture  and that looks kinda odd on armour.

why are you highlighting the face with gray?

the arms still are too stiff, and the legs guns and hands too mirrored

chest looks sweet though

The left arm looks too stiff.
You need to add some shading to the bicep so it appears not as straight.

enough with the double posting.  post ONCE, if you have something extra to say, and no one has said anything, click the edit button ()...

if you cant learn that, i will start locking every thread you make that you double post in

Chess, you said you'd work on it but you havent posted up an update. It's pretty pointless to bump unless you have something new to show so we can continue critting. People will ignore the thread if you've not done anything since they last posted.

You've come a fair way so far. Just post an update.

i'd finish up the edges a bit (spare grey pixels around the arm, jaggie knee, stuff near the hair etc.) and call it done i think
