it took me more here is my tile. I thought I was missing so I made a dinosaur here, most do not know if this kind of shadow that I'm putting on it is right

@JuninFC; you could do a much better job with the dinosaur. The tile is good except for that. You can use out of the tile borders for the dinosaur. Would you like some edits?

@antymattar; I don't really get what it is.

Not to be an ass but I asked for #8 before antymattar by a day. @antymattar can have it but if another tile frees up, I wouldn't mind another shot at making a tile.

@antymattar, Sorry, for the oversight with tile #8. It really belongs to shampoop so we're very sorry.

A few empty tiles are available so please choose another or you and shampoop work it out. Just understand that he did call it first, k.

Please let me know by posting here who is doing what, thx.

@JuninFC, you have to try to form the dino in isometric perspective. I can't show you an edit right now but will help you soon. In the meantime work within an isometric grid so the form of the legs, body and head are in iso perspective and post your progress.

3, 44 + 56 may be freed soon for inactivity. kevink gets some slack for longer. 56 seems might go nowhere since the reservation was made. 60 is totally free. Also, there are 2-3 tiles that are called complete but really need touching up to match neighbors. When we are almost at the end we'll request for these touchups and we'll all call out tiles that need discussion so who knows.

@Jalonso; I think you should free up 3 and 56 (and 44 if KevinK is not responding) already. They are certainly past inactive limits.

Also you might want to update dpixel's tile with his final version?

Maybe shampoop and antymattar can have a mini comp (gold star for the winner) for that tile and let 'members with finished tiles' vote on who gets in. Let's see what antymattar has to say...

Or maybe antymatter would like 60.  I'll hold off til we know more.  Would be nice to move on to a possible next project.

Should shampoop and antymattar decide to compete for tile 8.
It should be so you both go above and beyond yourselves with your pixelart. You would compete with yourself more than the other. Both should post final, final tiles only with no make overs or revisions. You could privately PM others for help prior to posting. Once a tile is chosen you may then revisit/tweak/edit your tile.

I love the idea of a competition but I wouldn't mind just having a tile and working on it, either 60 or 8.  This would give me the benefit of getting c&cs.  I certainly wouldn't want to go through the work and not get into the finished piece(or getting a gold star).  I also do not want to slow this collaboration down being that it is in its last phases of completion.  With that said, I'll take 60 and give 8 to anty or not depending on his two cents.

I would reserve #60 until we get this figured out.

Yes, 3 and 56 have passed the inactive limit and I posted about this (previous page).
Sergiotron asked for a free tile and I told him 3 and 56 are inactive, and he asked for 3.

Fud0 never posted after claiming the tile, for 41 days now. So I think there's no problem with giving Sergiotron the tile.

@Sergiotron; it's beautiful. That smoke stuff was hard to work with but you seem to have managed it pretty good.

I was playing around with number 60 and decided to just free number 8 and reserve it if that's okay.  I can post a work in progress soon.

@JuninFC, it does look good. You have gotten to a stage in the WIP much faster than you could before. You must be improving :p

This dinosaur is just fine and had this piece not been isometric would be just fine. The body shape is very good. The legs can help you make this isometric very easy. Something like this...remember to use the isometric grid often.

 For what's it's worth, I did an edit last week to try to make it look isometric with the feet in the same place with the addition of a level.  Placed it in the project and it still didn't look right.

This looks like a sea-lion rather than a dinosaur this time :(

I think you have to fix the tail and the neck, which is too thick.

Much better. There's a light pixel in front of the dino's mouth and it looks bad with dark background. May you'd like to delete that pixel.

Also you may want to start the tail a bit higher.

here I took one pixel of light that was on the dino's mouth and also increased his tail. I also changed the color of light on his neck from yellow to blue

@Sergiotron, I was adding your tile to the main image and all the colors you used are wrong and some colors are way off. Did you use the palette on Page 1 Post 1(notice the HEX numbers)?
If this is due to technical file output reasons let us know, we'll help. I was going to adjust the colors for you but thought it best to let you make an attempt at doing it yourself so you learn to do it yourself. Remember how important colors are to pixelart ;)
I like the one with the bonus glider in the tile.

@JuninFC, is the dino tile complete or are you still working on it? Seems some ground shadows would look nice. Look at dpixel's edit of your tile and notice the ground shadow.

Yesterday I was reading about my color problem, but until today I will be able to fix it.
Maybe there's something wrong wit my comor settings in photoshop. This is what I have:
*Working Spaces*
RGB: Adobe RGB (1998)
CMYK: Japan Web Coated (ad)
Gray: Dot Gain 15%
Spot: Dot Gain 15%
 
Is there a problem with my color settings? or maybe I have to check my "Save for Web & Devices" settings?
