![]() @jeremy: LOVE your new tile with ye olde dragon. @Christoballs: Love the theme! Just alerting you to the fact I have a roof in my tile that borders on yours. :) I really want to claim a new tile and damn these are going fast! Reo seems to be nearly done with #39. Can I claim #32 if I make sure to match it to his whenever it is done? I have an idea of what to do there. :) |

Wow both tiles are excellent Mirre & Reo! Really amazing start to the collab so far, we're used to master quality entries to the collabs, but this fast? That never happened! I think both the theme and the palette really excited all of us.

Aright, after all that helpful advice I managed to bunker down and managed to finish Tile #55!

@Gen_void I'm afraid you can't, please read the rules carefully:
- From the 11th tile on (or once a finished tile has been put into place) your new tile reservations MUST have at least one neighboring tile already posted that your tile blends into. |

Ok, can i have 9 then? its unmarked.
Can i have the pixel size or the tile? or is it any mockap already to paint over it? i want to start with this, it have trees and bodies! maybe some blood too :D |

Take a look at the example in the pinned post of where the shadows fall. Good job on re-working the knight! :D |

If you want #9 you just need to wait for Irenaart to finish hers before you can start. So you know what you are continuing from. :) Sounds like you have a nice idea though! In the first post of this thread (top of page 1) there is an example with the palette, the tile, and shading examples. But I can tell you the tile is 99px wide and 100px high. |

Thanks for the pixel size of the tiles! that thing so important is not acknowledge in the rules or any, for people new to this who wants to be introduced is not quite clear and maybe can push back.
And the hierarchy of the tiles is not mentioned either, i need to wait for the tiles of the first line to continue/start mine? now i am getting the idea but i am little confuse hahahah. Can i have 6? PLEASE TELL ME I CAN! |

I'm afraid it's the same story with #6. #13 was claimed as one of the first 10, so need to wait for Krugelix to finish that first, but he seems to be near done so I'm sure it will be free soon. I understand it's tricky with the 10 first tiles rule. I struggled a little when trying to figure out what to claim too! I think also because they were claimed so fast and people were so fast with finishing tiles. The 10 first tiles to be claimed were: #1, #44, #42, #13, #4, #69, #8, #10, #80, #47 After those 10 each new tile claimed needs to have one side connecting to a finished tile. |

Also that huge "trade?" text will just be something people will point out at the end of the collab and say "I wish this wasn't there", I'd say just remove it, it doesn' t make the tile or the collab look better.

It was interessting to me, how changing some pixels can have such a big impact on the reading. If the pixels are more vertical it looks like there are real blades of grass.

I think my idea could fit good around 44.
The general concept is a magical forest, if anyone have a similar conceptual approach i can be added to them! To have an idea the objects are: a deep forest, a magic orb, people kissing and people flying trough the trees. |

@Krugelix every post shows a lot of improvement and your tile is really starting to come along. You might want to go through and try to reduce the noise a bit though. You have a lot of single pixels that don't really represent anything specific and cleaning those up will give things a much cleaner more polished look.
If you're not sure how to do something my personal suggestion is just finding someone who did something similar and who you think absolutely nailed it, then trying to emulate their style. For your grass you might want to try going through the previous collabs and looking for a nice grassy tile that you think looks good then seeing what you can learn from their approach. |

![]() @Christoballs: Hehe, I'm glad you could tell who she was meant to be. Hopefully even clearer now. Your tile came out so good too! @Reo, @jeremy, @Gecimen: Thanks! :) @Krugelix: It's really starting to come together nicely. Very nice improvement. I recommend looking at the tower/castle for some inspiration/reference for how to do the cracks between the stones. Looks like there's a dark stray pixel on the bottom of the tower. Somewhere between jeremy's and Reo's tile. |

Yes, border tiles are all about extending the bounds & blend with the transparency outside, you are supposed to make the border tiles much larger. Just a sketch, there will be a horned god with an orb, and people kissing and other people flying trough the woods. The trees will be bigger.
