@Mirre: the jurassic park gate already looks great!
would you be willing to include rails in your tile? there was a plan to continue roller coaster rails there, so when i started #4, i followed cjlm123's sketch: Originally posted by cjlm123

![]() ![]() Well, I don't mind adding it or moving my tile. Whatever everyone else think works! There's no finished tile bordering #7 though, so I don't think I can claim that one. The other option is I can make it loop up high again above the Jurassic Park gate and have the dinos reach for the people on the ride? Let me know what you think will work the best! Also what you think will work with your tile as you claimed #4 before me. ![]() |

well, iirc we lost one of the first ten tiles because mrpixeldude cancelled the tile #17. so maybe one exception could be made? :]
let's see what mods will say on that. if we couldn't move your tile, i'm ready to adjust my tile accordingly - i might have claimed #4 first, but you are ahead of me, so i think i should wait to see what you'll come up with. ;] |

Our priority is not to waste any existing work; so I can make an exception - yet maybe you can move to #2 instead and add a rail at the back of the gate?
Anyways both are cool, tell me if you want to move to #7 or #2. |

Mirre, I think you could just make the railtrack go in air behind your gate, and come out on its left side over the Jurrasic Park fence there.
The other idea - to make it really high above the gate, But I think it less sacisfactory, becasue that could diminish the value and majesty of that gate, which is beautiful and also important :) You can also make the track a daredevil jump (it doesn't have to be realistic park :P ) so it has a ramp with an end on each side of the dino gate and a cart flying in air :D We have an intention to make the track going all around the park, but it doesn't always have to be visible. We already have it underwater, it can go through a tunnel. |

A jump is a good idea!
Maybe me and b236 could make something like this work? ![]() And either me, or whoever finishes the gate on tile #2 does the other side of the jump? I was going to make a T-Rex and a Pterodactyl too, so that would work well with a jump I think. I had an idea of making another tiles somewhere where the rollercoaster rails turn into Rainbow Road for a bit. XD The palette would work so well for that. |

@Mirre: i'm only wondering if having two gates so close wouldn't look strange - like two entrances to the same park.
but other than that i'm fine with either solution. i originally suggested moving a tile because i didn't want to push you into including rails in case you already had some plans for the stuff behind the gate. but that jump does work for me. ;] |

You could also make a tunnel. The rollercoster drops down in #4 and "resurfaces" in #1 or #2. I also wanted to report, that i didn't forget tile #53. Here a quick update: ![]() |

@Krugelix it looks incredible already!
@Mirre, how you presented the jump idea looks great and much better than I imagined. The connection of the track and the near presence of the other gate doesn’t concern me at all and this could work perfectly here on #3 aswell as on #6 or #7. What I wonder is how you want to solve the road connection without asking others to edit already accepted tiles or to make the road end shortly in the front of the gate. If you have an idea for that that’s awesome. If not, maybe it could connect more naturally with the large dirt field full of people from tile 6 or seven. Whatever you choose it will be great as long as all the tiles connect nicely. What we don’t want is abandoning the Jurassic gate. It was my dream reference for this collab from the beginning ^^ |

Update to #3. Did some more work on the gate and road:

Just one thing, the edge of my Mario tile is meant to be a ledge (see the dark brown part of my tile) Is there any chance of resolving this either by making a conclusion to my ledge or adding a small ledge? |

Krugelix, it is simply amazing. It is almost done. As a tile itself it is perfect, but it still requires some extra time of work on its connections with the suroundings.
What vrine points out is one thing. The connection with that tile is very unnatural, and you cna almost see the straight grid line (slightly shifted) between the tiles. The other thing is the right edge. If this is a waterfall, the falling water cannot suddenly be cuttted or dissapear like that. Or, if you want it to do so, you woudl have to make it dissapear in clouds or something, but the easiest way is to continue the falling water to the bottom of your tile, and leave the solution to that to another person. The previous collab has couple of edge waterfal minicollabs so you can check it out. |

I've worked a little more on it now: ![]() @Krugelix: I think your tile is coming together soo nice! Lovely details and great idea. You've got some good feedback already on the tile that I think will make it blend better with the neighbouring tiles. I just wanted to point out that maybe the characters are a little big in comparison to other people? Next to the Super Mario characters in the neighbouring tile they look a little big, but that means you can also use those for size reference. Except for Bowser which is the perfect size! Love the Mario Kart addition to your tile, it's one of my favourite games! @cjlm123: Beautiful tile already! |
