It sits alright.

Now you still need to add both floor tiles (green-purple on the up side and perhaps grey ones on the lower side). Also there is a green cable coming up from #32, you might consider continuing.

Updates to my tiles fixing some minor things.

@Schazer,
• I turned the very bottom corner pipes into my tile so you don't need to bother with those at all.
• I threw in some general idea of where shadows in your tile go.
• The corner of the metal box could use a black corner.
• 1 & 2- I guess this is just because its still a WIP
• 3- Notice the shadow on the wall is different than what you have.

@Krugelix,
• Added a caterpillar and finished the head. I think the head is misshapen a little so my line shows a tweak.
• Looks like you forgot the bottom of the legs.
• 1- You could move that caterpillar a few pixels into your tile there to finish it up.
• 2- What is that?
• Lastly, this is not wrong at all but stands out a bit and could be blended if it ends under the big caterpillar or you place another barrel or somehow cover or break up so it 'fades' in?

@CuriousBeefJerky,
• 1- Because the grout is like 'Tron' lights and the floor is more matte I don't think you need any edge color at all.
• What you have done is fine but because you have an edge tile it would be more visually appealing if you play with your lower edge line (red) so its more irregular. You can very easily edit your panels to add interest.
• If you don't want to play with that you should still add the shadow on the right hand side blue wall as I show in my peach color wall.

You can add as much as you need but try not to over do it on the vertical.
On the sides you can go into your neighbors a bit too.
Just do what you need to do to suit your vision and if anything others will bitch about it ;)

Thanks for help with the head. So hard for me to get good circles.
The thing a the bottom should have been a break in the floor, but if you can't see it, it was a failure :D
Tried to break the white curbstone.

Thanks for the caterpillar on your tile. Looks very nice!

Played with the bottom,fixed issues, and tried to clean up the rest.
Might clean it up more in a few days and pick another tile, but unless anyone notices anymore issues, I'm calling it done for now.

Before you get too far into pixelling know that the tent is not iso at all.
The 3 leaf plant is not iso either but could be ok if you color it using iso shading.

Blue colors are available tiles so you get #95, ok?
The 2nd post shows reservation list with handles and #95 is open. You can always double check that post because its clear which tile is open.

@dragfly; #95 is available and is yours now.

For the other matter you asked, common sense says a tile such as #97 is very much neighbored and should be available now. I wouldn't say the same for #1 or #8, which have little or no touching pixels resolved yet.  IMO, the main idea here is that you interpret and continue other people's work.

What's your opinion Jal?

I agree. Technically some tiles have 1 pixel that would make the next tile available but it really should be a whole diagonal side. We have always done it this way and its always worked out.

WIP for #60, playing with evolution. I think I've settled on a layout now.

Also, here a couple other ideas I may do later. Other people are free to use these.
● Mythbusters
● Back to the Future (maybe have Doc & flaming tyre marks in one tile; Marty & DeLorean in another)
● Half-Life
● Isaac Newton getting hit in the head by an apple
● Tron (see tiles #88 & #96)
● Nobel Prize presentation
● Men in Black
● Big Bang Theory (TV show and/or event)


While I'm here, tile #35 has an extra shade of orange on the Doctor's face.

I will update my grid once you finish your tile.
I recommend you to make the characters ISO, as far as you can. The perspective is the major factor (along with scale, lightsource and palette) that holds the collab together.

I find your tile really good and love the emptiness on it. Its almost a sad scene that's cute too :/
The pixelling is top notch.
Shadows are all wrong is my only crit.

Not that what you have done is wrong or even looks bad.

Below is just info you may not be aware of when making iso pixels.

There are only a few lines that are iso.

You can tweak lines to change the angle in the final art but when you do so its always the best choice to hide the bits where the line becomes not iso using iso parts and making the 'jaggie' hidden. Either by using another asset or by changing corners which is what my edits show.

@jalonso - Thank you for the comments. I'm glad you like. Are the shadows the right direction now?

To the creator of tile #88 (below and to the left of mine.) I was wondering if you'd consider updating your tile so it fits with mine as it is. I think it would flow from previous tiles better as there's a bit of a continuation issue in your tile anyway (other than that it looks great though! Metroids rock!). Thanks.

Sorry to keep you waiting! Here's my next WIP of my tile.

I intend on making a spaceship launchpad. The spaceship will probably take up most of the tile though because it needs room for one human, and I'll probably have to enlarge the launchpad as well. (and I'm not going to do just any spaceship ;))
Also, while I am at it... can I suggest the next ISO collab theme? I'm thinking of one that hasn't been done before and that has a perfect name to it (in my opinion).

Yes, I know the right part of the inverted pyramid is not looking good and I need to rework it.

Prior to this version, the right part was designed like that:



It is more respectful of iso 'rules', but as I was not satisfied with it, I did a quick and dirty edit. I will fully rework this part, maybe putting some green neons on this side as well, but I am not sure yet (there might be too much neons then).
