Overall it looks ok, but here are a couple of things you may want to fix:
- The wheels are not perfectly round
- There is no light source (or it seems to be from everywhere)

Is there any good tutorial for isometric circles in vertical? I did the wheels like horizontal isometric circles, but vertical, and something went wrong. )

And one more thing I would like to understand. Removing most black outlines. What is the rules for it?

That's a design choice and there is no rule. Sometimes, like in a game, some will leave the outermost lines in black so they stand out from the play area.
Some don't use them at all. Some only do the outline. Some leave them all over.
Do a search in the gallery for 'iso' and you'll see lots of examples.

E: Its more important to keep color count low. You tend to use a lot.

If you look at the real world, how many things have black outlines?

Now I think it is cool to cartoonize your drawing and outlines can be part of that, but they should not take over your picture. Why not use less lines, and if you use lines don't use black?

Here is a quick example:

@jal: Jeremys noobtorial is not really helping for the wheels right?... :(

Joseki, jalonso, Hapiel, thanks friends! When I made this picture, I thought about the number of colors. But for the first time I decided not to limit their number. In the future I will try to work with a small palette (gb or nes, for exaple). Pict with shading is much better!
Jeremys noobtorial is good for horizontal circles (the wheel is lying on the floor), but in my case it stand. But I am trying to use this method.

Its not about limiting yourself with colors. Its about just using what you need and no more. Whatever count it happens to be. Optimizing the palette is the goal.

Isometric is a numerical perspective so all curves and circles have the same ratio. Jeremy's angle is not the one you are using here but the formula is the same.

Iso is 26.5 degrees. Making any circle, curve or organic form in isometric simply needs that degree to be correct, tho I find that it always looks kinda odd so I thin them out on the vertical by 20-25% for visual reading in my personal iso work.

Thank you all for advise.
I added some shading. Try to change wheels. Here is new loco.
Two questions. How are the wheels? Is there black outline at roof and top good or bad for you opinion?

The wheels are worse now. That they are missing some depth does not help.
See THIS ref for a decent isometric circle.

I had not log in a couple of weeks. Make some terible pictures and need tips.
First is the Horse. I was trying to add it at site, but it seems that "REVISION NEEDED BEFORE APPROVAL" So, how to make it better?

Next is some Viking warband. I have no idea about quality of it. Tryin to make concept model of fugure, and then make a variation. Maybe I should try a NES palette for it.

Next is the theme that I really love - old castle. This one is simple in 4 gameboy colors with some monograms ))) What can I do with it?

And the last is my secon iso project - mockup of Yaroslavl Glavny, the main railway station in Yaroslavl (old russian city where i was born).
Original is here, for example

This is really WIP. A lot of work ahead. What do you think about it?
Thank you for your advice and sorry for my English.

Exuse me for white background - I did it all in MS Paint.

Make a 4-color avatar with Ritchie Blackmore (guitarplayer and songwriter of Deep Purple, Rainbow and Blackmore's night). This is looks like my Expendable sketch.))
The question is - Is it pixel art?
