On the 30th I will have been here for a whole year, so to celebrate I'm making a PJ-themed piece, with various familiar PJ faces. So far I have Brian and Larwick:



Obviously I'm adding other people too. I was going to have Sedge in the middle behind the sign, and everyone else hudled around the sides.

The lighting is going to be similar to the Super Mario piece in my gallery except the entire floor is going to be one huge white light, with a starry night sky above.

what about little 'ol Demon?    I look like death, a skull dude in a robe, just to give you a little bit of insight into the greatness and awesomeness that is Demon. 

Lmao, this'll be awesome. Get on and add some more guys... now!

Although i believe the rustbug's farthest leg would have the back of the shin area showing, rather than the sideview.

 

PS/ by guys i meant 'friendly people' in general, be them male, female or it.

Small update:



Is the leg better now Larwick? I added sedge, blick and alkaline. I tried to turn Brian and Larwick into marionette dolls controlled by sedge but the strings looked horrible, so I'm just going to keep his arms outstreched as if he were trying to kill everyone with his B.O., lol.

I was just wondering is blueberry pie's fish disc shaped or spherical?

Next I'll probably add snader, jalonso and Ensellitis

Blueberry_pie, I want to put you in, but I need to know whether your fish is spherical or disc-shaped.

jalonso, what on earth!? Goodness, no! Ugh, I am appalled! (jk, you won). I'll look up images of beetles to see how they are formed, that should work.

So anyway, that's Shark on the back of the rustbug (with his current avatar character) pointing and laughing. And I've changed jalonso to be standing up. I'll add his bulging eyes when I colour it.

I was thinking of having blueberry pie as the moon in the sky. (hey that rhymes)

Also, the bottom looks empty and the only reason it's not cropped is because of alkaline's burger. Should I crop it and move the burger elsewhere (losing the joke)? I really think trying to fit people into that lower gap would just end up with a kind of crude composition.

Next I will add someone on the left gasping at the sight of jalonso. Probably MoD.

Also: I really want to actually do that "floor = light" idea I mentioned, but I don't know if it would really work out well. Does anyone have any ref pics where the entire floor is lit up? I'm definitely putting the main light source underneath but I'm considering just putting strips/rows of lights or something.

Plus: there are quite a few people who I'd like to put in but I don't know how to represent them. For example Faktablad.

Damn I just realized, I could've done SplatPixel as a marionette doll controlled by sedge.

I hope the alk/burger doesn't move. You could consider expanding the canvas on the bottom and continue adding to create an oval? This latest update is looking great. The snader/souly mini scene is funny.
