This is my first attempt at animating, so I can understand if you say it's not good.
I just need advice really.. How should the top of the head move and such like. Any help? please? |

I think it's pretty good -- but I haven't tried animation yet in pixel art. I do know from animating 3d stuff that when something like a ball bounces it compresses when it hits the ground (gets a bit shorter and flatter).

I think you might want to revise the actual character before you move on to animation. Try doing a google image search for "raindrop" or "water" or something of the sort, and look to see how they reflect light. The animation could also be improved. I think here more than a simple 123456765432repeat cycle is needed (I didn't count frames, but you get the idea). This is because liquid doesn't move upwards to meet water falling down, but it will be pulled upwards with another part of it as the blob levitates again. I also suggest you get rid of the blue outlines; they don't fit and rarely look good on any piece. |
