I think you are relying too much on the original base to dictate where you are going with her. I think if you start trying to think outside the box ("colour outside the lines" so to speak) you'll start gaining better insight and passion for your own style. To begin with, I'd suggest turning down that bright contrasted skin tone and give it some tone.

As you can see, I gave her muscles some definition and form. Nothing too crazy... you wanna be subtle with a lady's skin (again, hold the jokes). There are shadows that come into play and define the curves that aren't outlined by the previous artist you took this base from. Try it yourself :)
