Hey ya'll. It's been a little while. I've gone back to mostly programming instead of creating more art assets so I haven't really been around as much lately other than lurking about looking at stuff.
I had the urge all of a sudden to do a group pixel art pic of my favorite gaming website crew and thought I'd ask ya'll pros if you have any suggestions or notice any glaring errors. I think I'm definitely currently using more colors than I should but couldn't get things to even remotely look right w/out expanding the shades.
Also, I'm color blind, so I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me whether or not the skin tones are totally jacked. Thanks =)

You can't really tell where the one in the browns arms went and the women's left arm is too straight. Finally the man next to the woman his right arm seems to vanish.

The one in the brown is sorta just hands on hips. Is it the coloring that makes it hard to tell? Should they be brighter?
I see what you're saying about the arm being too straight but he's actually holding the guitar behind his head so his arm is sorta supposed to be like that. I could try fidgeting with it. Maybe extend a single row of pixels to the right?
And the guy next to him, you can sorta tell what's up w/his hands better if the other one isn't in the way. I could try scootching him over so that you get to see the pixels that are hidden behind the straight arm. thx =)

Applied the suggested edits minus making the brown arms clearer as I'm unsure what to do -_-;;

Looks better, but maybe you should lighten up the shade on the hands, for the man in brown make his right hand larger. Also I just noticed that they have no feet.

there are some odd anatomical issues here. the guy with the guitar has very little mass around the shoulders, where the arms connect to the body. his hands also seem small and could be shaped more accurately. the fat guy's arms are too short and too skinny. his feet also appear a bit small, and like the guy whose arms are crossed, his lower body may be disproportionately shorter than his upper body. the fat guy's hands are also small and oddly shaped

Tried lightening the hands a bit and increased the size of the man in brown. Also. . . added feet.
There's more than just some anatomical issues here -_-;; I originally started it as sorta a big head, mid body, small legs but then started adjusting more towards realistic proportions. . . The adjustment wasn't completely successful =\ I think I'm going to have to rework the brown guy's left arm as it does look too short. The pink dude's hands were sorta fixed up a bit and added a little more shoulder though, he's a really skinny guy so it should be super small, but not nonexistant =P
Thanks for the continuing crits. I hope I'm putting them to good use -_-;;

Still making a variety of edits. Here's the latest. I think the shading on some of the pants are wrong (especially the guy on the far right). Just updating progress. If anyone has and C&C, feel free to give suggestions. I think I'm a good listener and I'm always willing to learn.

I like it a lot! It has a super deformed feel with the enlarged heads/shortened bodies, noticeably Brad and Jeff, but it captures their personalities well. The light sourcing seems weird because the light is coming from everywhere (green screen setup/studio) but the dominant light is behind them (shadows of the characters coming forward). Reflected light wouldn't be nearly as apparent as it is in your piece I don't think. Ryan looks almost shiny (although this too may be accurate to life :)

Cool, thx. I added a wall -_-;;
Also some further edits and small additions. I still think there's something screwy going on with the leg of the person on the far right.

By the pose he's putting his weight on the left leg and the right is bent slightly. I dunno, it looks okay to me. The only thought I have is that the shin area looks pretty thin for his bodysize, and his right foot seems narrower than it should be.
