What you have now looks more like a jog up some stairs. In a run, the legs get kicked back, and there are gaps where neither foot is on the ground.It also involves the whole body, not just the legs and arms, with the character leaning into the run, and the body pumping side to side along with the arms. My own work's far from perfect, but here's an run that I've made in the past for an example:  |
